The StormUlator  is a  runoff calculator developed in collaboration with the State Water Resources Control Board - Storm Water Division, UC Davis Extension - Center for Water and Land Use, and the California Sea Grant Program. To download the calculator click on the “Resources” link above or click on this StormUlator link. The purpose of this version of the calculator is as an awareness tool. It is designed to give you a general idea of what may be needed to keep pre and post runoff volume the same. All calculations and outputs are estimates. This calculator should not be used as a substitute for having a project reviewed by a civil or geotechnical engineer.

The links above will take you to two short tutorial videos that will demonstrate how to use this calculator. The “Introduction Video” gives a general overview of the calculator and “Example Video” takes you through a step-by-step calculation of a sample project.
